Deanna is part of a local singing group called the Sunnyside Singers. They perform each Thursday for groups of senior citizens. I am so proud of Deanna, that she dedicates her time to lift the spirits of our seniors -- But, that is just like her, always so giving. The Sunnyside Singers just celebrated their 10th anniversary, and the local paper did the following article on them.
Deanna's quote from the newspaper (since you can't read it):
"Even the scheduling is not really a problem when you're doing such a great thing," said Deanna Jackson of Clinton Township, mother of five and an alto with the group for about five years. "I love the seniors -- they are so uplifting."
