Snow Sledding with Jackson
Danielle and Jackson came to visit us for two weeks in January. It was a blessing for me to be off work, so that I could spend so much time with them. We ad so much fun together. And, this has been one of the snowiest winters in New Jersey, so school was cancelled several days for Kevan, and we got to go snow sledding quite a few times. We went to a nearby golf course that has a perfect spot. Below is what our hosue looked like after one storm.
At first, we went on a tube. Until we tore a hole in it, then we switched to a sled. Jackson was a great sport.
Kevan is such a good uncle. I have rarely seen a young man who is so patient with little children. He's going to make a wonderful father some day.
Jackson liked to be buried in the snow. I'm not sure why, but he thought it was pretty cool. Then, he buried me. Actually, I did most of the digging.
The following are some short video clips, Kevan and Jackson, then Me and Jackson, and then, after he had some experience, Jackson all by himself. I was proud of this little 3 1/2 year old boy, being brave to go all by himself down this steep hill. I have to say that, sledding with my grandson was so much fun, just priceless.
