Glens Falls BYU Basketball Game

One Dec. 8-9 we took a fun road trip to Glens Falls, New York, for a BYU basketball game. Glens Falls is a small town where Jimmer Fredette grew up, and they held a game there in his honor. The game was fun, but the whole atmosphere was very friendly and very unique, in that the entire town seemed to turn out just for Jimmer. The game was held in the civic center, which held only 6,000, which added to the small-town feel. We hung out at Subway across the street -- It was coooold outside.
Amelia was happy the whole game, often entertaining the people around us.
After the game, many of the BYU players stayed a log time to sign autographs and talk. Jackson Emery was very gracious -- very nice guy. We even got to talk to Tom Holmoe, who also very friendly and talkative.
If you look very, very close in this picture from the local paper the next day, you will see Brad, Elisse, Amelia, and I through the top part of the glass backboard.
