Cami and Dad at at the first campsite.
Cami Jackson, Becca Johnson, and Becca Bradshaw eating dinner in the rain under the dining fly. It pored just after we set camp. But, we stayed relatively dry, and the ladies were great sports.
Becca J, Becca B, Steve Bascom, Michelle Bascom, Cami, eating dessert (nummy cholocate, strawberry crunch).
Drying out the next morning... it was very foggy.
Eating our breakfast -- oatmeal, pop-tarts and hot chocolate.
Cami and Dad ready to hit the trail.
Cami, Dad, Steve, Michelle, Scott, Becca B ready to break camp.
Becca J and Cami at Sunfish Pond.
Just hangin' out out during a break near Sunfish Pond.
We picked wild blueberries. The blueberry bushes near the trail in the sunny areas on the ridge were just full of ripe berries. mmm-mmmm.
Cami and the ladies.
Looking toward PA, over the Delaware River, from the ridge of the AT.

It was near this spot where we saw two bear cubs in the trees and their mama nearby. The cubs saw us, wailed, and scampered quickly down the tree. Then, the mama bear stood on her hind legs and spied us... gazed at us a few, tense moments, and then they hurriedly off ran off through the bushes in the other direction.... Very cool.
We hiked from Catfish Firetower to the highway the next morning... It was a great outing.
